Alleluia to the Father

When You laid the earth’s foundation
Morning stars burst into song
Shouts of joy from tongues of angels
Highest praise to You belong

Alleluia to the Father
Alleluia to the Son
Alleluia to the Spirit
Praise surrounds You
Three in One

In a garden long forgotten
Into death our sins had led
Come you cursed and hear the promise:
He will crush the serpent’s head

Look upon the Cross of Jesus
All our sins on Him were laid
Here is love beyond all telling
With His blood our ransom paid

When at last the saints have gathered
All around the royal throne
Hear the roar of all creation
Highest praise to You alone

When You laid the earth’s foundation ...I laid the foundation of the earth... (Job 38:4)

Morning stars burst into song ...the morning stars sang together... (Job 38:7a)

Shouts of joy from tongues of angels ...all the sons of God shouted for joy... (Job 38:7b)

Highest praise to You belong ...praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. (Psalm 138:13)

Alleluia to the Father
Alleluia to the Son
Alleluia to the Spirit
Praise surrounds You
Three in One
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

In a garden long forgotten
Into death our sins had led
...the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” (Genesis 3:9-13)

Come you cursed and hear the promise:
He will crush the serpent’s head
The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you...I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head... (Genesis 3:14-15)

Look upon the Cross of Jesus
All our sins on Him were laid
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Here is love beyond all telling In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:10)

With His blood our ransom paid ...the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Mark 10:45)

When at last the saints have gathered
All around the royal throne
Hear the roar of all creation
Highest praise to You alone
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne...the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (Revelation 5:11-13)

    Crucified for me

  3. Christ is risen from the dead
    Ever-living One

Come adore the newborn King
Fall on bended knee
Wise men bring an offering
Treasures all for Thee
When they [the wise men] saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they  saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:10-11)

Angels and archangels sing And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” (Luke 2:13-14) / And all the angels were standing around the throne...and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (Revelation 7:11-12)

Praise and glory to the King Sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! (Psalm 66:2)

God of endless mystery “Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty? It is higher than heaven—what can you do? Deeper than Sheol—what can you know? Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea. (Job 11:7-9) / “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” (Romans 11:34)

Left his throne for me Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:5-11)

Come behold the Holy One Jesus of Nazareth...you are—the Holy One of God. (Luke 4:34)

Arms stretched open wide
Here the Father gave his Son
To lay down his life
Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:10-12)

Crucified for me And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:8-11)

Christ is risen from the dead But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead... (Matthew 28:5-7)

Ever-living One We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. (Romans 6:9)

Sin and death and hell have fled For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit (1 Peter 3:18) / When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. (Revelation 1:17-18)

Praise to God the Son Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11) / I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

Conquered death for me For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. (Romans 5:6-11)

To the Father and the Son
And the Spirit be
...in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit... (Matthew 28:19)

Never ending praise and love Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise? (Psalm 106:1-2)

Bless the Trinity But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 115:18)

Its measure is longer than the earth and broader than the sea. (Job 11:7-9) / “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” (Romans 11:34)

All I am for Thee By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. (1 John 3:16-18)

Arise My Soul

Arise, my soul, as morning dawns
And join the everlasting song
To God the Father, Spirit, Son
Arise, my soul, arise

Arise, my soul, and lift your eyes
To Him whose glory fills the skies
Whose blood has opened Paradise
Arise, my soul, arise

Arise, my soul, and do not fear
The troubles of these mortal years
For Jesus reigns and He is here
Arise, my soul, arise

Arise, my soul, consider this:
That all your sin and guilt are His
Now Christ is all your righteousness
Arise, my soul, arise

Arise, my soul, and lift your voice
For Christ by death has death destroyed
Now you are bound for endless joy
Arise, my soul, arise

BRIDGE
Alleluia! Jesus lives
Alleluia! I am His

The troubles of these mortal years These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)  /  “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:1-6)

For Jesus reigns And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. That all your sin and guilt are His
Now Christ is all your righteousness
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21)  /  He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Arise, my soul, arise Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. (Psalm 42:11 / Psalm 43:5 identical verses)

Arise, my soul, and lift your voice
For Christ by death has death destroyed
and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10)

Alleluia! I am His You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) / You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:9-11)
