Always Loved

Lord, You were there at my first breath
And You will be with me in life and death
Now I am Yours, a child of God
I know that I am always loved

And as I walk this narrow road
What all may come, I cannot know
Because You shed Your precious blood
I know that I am always loved

In every joy, in every tear
How good it is to know that You are near
So come what will, it is enough
To know that I am always loved

The things of earth will pass away
O Lord, my heart is longing for the Day
Soon I will see the face of God
And know that I am always loved

Lord, You were there at my first breath Before I formed you in the womb I knew you (Jeremiah 1:5)

And You will be with me in life and death For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. (Romans 14:8)

Now I am Yours, a child of God
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. (1 John 3:1)

I know that I am always loved I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3)

And as I walk this narrow road Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (Matthew 7:13-14)

What all may come, I cannot know Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. (Proverbs 27:1) / Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. (James 4:14) / Moreover, man does not know his time: like fish caught in a treacherous net and birds trapped in a snare, so the sons of men are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them. (Ecclesiastes 9:12) / Isaac said, “Behold now, I am old and I do not know the day of my death. (Genesis 27:2) / Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good. (Ecclesiastes 11:6)

shed Your precious blood knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (1 Peter 1:18-19)

I know that I am always loved I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3) / Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) / We love because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19) / The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) / See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. (1 John 3:1) / But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

In every joy, in every tear
How good it is to know that You are near
The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever. (Psalm 145:18-21)

So come what will, it is enough
To know that I am always loved
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39)

The things of earth will pass away And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. (1 John 2:17) / But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed (2 Peter 3:10) / But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. (2 Peter 3:7) / Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. (Revelation 21:1)

O Lord, my heart is longing for the Day But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20) / so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28) / As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" (Psalm 42:1-2)

Soon I will see the face of God Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8) / The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve him. They shall see his face (Revelation 22:3-4) / As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. (Psalm 17:15) / For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6)

And know that I am always loved So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. (1 John 4:16)

On the Cross

On the cross, on the cross
Who am I seeing now
My beloved Lord
Dying there just for me
My beloved Lord
Dying there just for me

O my soul, o my soul
Can you see all your sins
In His blood flowing down?
Son of God cursed for me
In His blood flowing down?
Son of God cursed for me

I will not love my sins
Anymore, anymore
From now on, I will live
In the light of the Cross
From now on, I will live
In the light of the Cross

When the enemies come
Troubles rage like a flood
O remember this love
In His body and blood
O remember this love
In His body and blood

He will give faith to live
All my days on this earth
In the end He will come
Take me home far away
In the end He will come
Take me home far away

On the cross, on the cross
Who am I seeing now
My beloved Lord
Dying there just for me
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

O my soul, o my soul
Can you see all your sins
In His blood flowing down?
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) / To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:5-6)

Son of God cursed for me Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree (Galatians 3:13)

I will not love my sins
Anymore, anymore
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ (Galatians 3:27) / But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires (Romans 13:14) / The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12) / Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. (Hebrews 12:1) / Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls (James 1:21) / So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander (1 Peter 2:1)

From now on, I will live
In the light of the Cross
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. (Romans 14:8) / For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)

When the enemies come
Troubles rage like a flood
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. (Psalm 18:3) / Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me (Psalm 23:4)

O remember this love
In His body and blood
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-24) / Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, (2 Timothy 2:8)

He will give faith to live
All my days on this earth
When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.” (Acts 11:18) / By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

In the end He will come
Take me home far away
So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him. (Hebrews 9:28) / And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-28)

He is Risen Indeed (1 Corinthians 15)

If Christ has not been raised
Then we are to be pitied
If Christ has not been raised
We still are in our sins

But let our God be praised
Shout with the empty grave
Lift up your voice He is risen!

He is risen indeed! (2x)
Death is swallowed up in victory!
He will wipe every tear
And we will be free
Alleluia! He is risen indeed!

If Christ has not been raised
The dead in Christ have perished
If Christ has not been raised
We eat and drink and die

He died that we might live
No longer for ourselves
But for the One Who gave His life
(REPEAT)
He gave His life

If Christ has not been raised
Then we are to be pitied
If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied. (1 Corinthians 15:19)

If Christ has not been raised
We still are in our sins
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.. (1 Corinthians 15:17)

But let our God be praised You shall fear the Lord your God. You shall serve him and hold fast to him, and by his name you shall swear. He is your praise. He is your God, who has done for you these great and terrifying things that your eyes have seen (Deuteronomy 10:20-21)

Shout with the empty grave And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. (Mark 16:6) / We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. (Romans 6:4-5)

Lift up your voice He is risen! They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; over the majesty of the Lord they shout from the west. (Isaiah 24:14)

He is risen indeed! (2x)
The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. (Matthew 28:5-6)

Death is swallowed up in victory! When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (1 Corinthians 15:54)

He will wipe every tear He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces (Isaiah 25:8) / For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. (Revelation 7:17) / He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)

And we will be free So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:36) / For one who has died has been set free from sin. (Romans 6:7) / For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)

Alleluia! He is risen indeed! But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? (Luke 24:1-5) / After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God (Revelation 19:1)

If Christ has not been raised
The dead in Christ have perished
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. (1 Corinthians 15:18)

If Christ has not been raised
We eat and drink and die
If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” (1 Corinthians 15:32)

He died that we might live
No longer for ourselves
But for the One Who gave His life
He gave His life
For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised (2 Corinthians 5:14-15)
