Who is Like Our God

Who is like our God?
Rise to bless His Name
O my soul cry out
Songs of highest praise

Worthy, Worthy
Is the Lamb who was slain
Holy, Holy
Forever You reign

Who is like our God?
Father, Spirit, Son
O my soul cry out
To the Glorious One

Who created day and night
Separated earth and sky?
Who is like our God?
Who is Sovereign over all
Mindful when a sparrow falls?
Who is like our God?
Who forgives the vilest sin
And welcomes all the broken in?
Who is like our God?
Who bled upon a brutal Cross
And now prepares a place for us?
Who is like our God?

Who is like our God? Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high (Psalm 113:5)

Rise to bless His Name And the Levites…said: “Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.” “Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. (Nehemiah 9:5)

O my soul cry out
Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.” (1 Chronicles 16:35) / Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. (Psalm 28:6)

Songs of highest praise
Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. (Psalm 148:4) / It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High (Psalm 92:1)

Worthy, Worthy
Is the Lamb who was slain
In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” (Revelation 5:12)

Holy, Holy And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6:3 ) / Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” (Revelation 4:8)

Forever You reign The Lord reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment. (Psalm 9:7; see also Psalm 68:16; Psalm 146:10; Isaiah 9:7; Lamentations 5:19; Luke 1:33)

Who is like our God? Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? (Exodus 15:11)

Father, Spirit, Son
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19)

O my soul cry out Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.” (1 Chronicles 16:35)

To the Glorious One
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. (1 Chronicles 29:13)

Who created day and night
Separated earth and sky?
Who is like our God?
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day...God called the vault “sky.”…And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:3-9)

Who is Sovereign over all
…the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes. (Daniel 5:21)

Mindful when a sparrow falls?
Who is like our God?
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7)

Who forgives the vilest sin
Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow (Isaiah 1:18)

And welcomes all the broken in?
Who is like our God?
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Romans 15:7) / My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. (Psalm 51:17)

Who bled upon a brutal Cross
Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. (John 19:34)

And now prepares a place for us?
Who is like our God?
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2)

Every Breath I Breathe Belongs to You

I only have one life to live
To learn to love and to forgive
So let it burn, Lord, like a flame
For the glory of Your Name

Every breath I breathe belongs to You
Let every thought and word and deed
Be pleasing, Lord, to You
You gave Your life upon a brutal Cross
That we might be made new
Every breath I breathe belongs to You

I only have one life to give
To follow You and truly live
So take my life and let it be
Ever Yours eternally

Lord, only by Your grace
Could I come to You
To your nail-pierced hands
Lord, only by Your grace
Could I live for You
So here I am

I only have one life to live Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment (Hebrews 9:27)

To learn to love Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)

and to forgive Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13)

So let it burn, Lord, like a flame For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:6-7)

For the glory of Your Name
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness. (1 Chronicles 16:29) / Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. (Psalm 66:2)

Every breath I breathe belongs to You
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. (Psalm 150:6)

Let every thought and word and deed
Be pleasing, Lord, to You
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14) / May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the Lord (Psalm 104:34) / The Lord detests the thoughts of the wicked, but gracious words are pure in his sight. (Proverbs 15:26)

You gave Your life upon a brutal Cross For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit (1 Peter 3:18)

That we might be made new
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:22-24)

Every breath I breathe belongs to You And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. (Acts 17:25)

I only have one life to give What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. (James 4:14)

To follow You
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24) / Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Mark 10:21)

and truly live The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

So take my life and let it be
Ever Yours eternally
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)

Lord, only by Your grace
Could I come to You
To your nail-pierced hands
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Lord, only by Your grace
Could I live for You
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2 Corinthians 12:9)

So here I am
Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied (Genesis 22:1) / The angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob.’ I answered, ‘Here I am.’ (Genesis 31:11) / When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.” (Exodus 3:4) / Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.” (1 Samuel 3:4) / Then I said, "Here I am, I have come—it is written about me in the scroll. (Psalm 40:7) / Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)

Come Like the Rain

Holy God, I’ve wandered far
Lost in sin and shame
But You will come sure as the dawn
To all who call Your Name

Like a desert
Lord, I thirst

Come like the rain (2x)
Shower your mercies once again
Spirit of God
Come like a flood
Pour out Your grace on me again

Holy God, revive my heart
Send your word, O Lord
Come, O Christ, with truth and life
And grace to know You more

Lord, I repent of the days
Where I neglected your grace
Father, for this I was made:
To live for Your praise (2x)
(REPEAT)

Holy God, I’ve wandered far
Lost in sin and shame
Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’…“Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine…He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father… (Luke 15:11-18)

But You will come sure as the dawn
Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. (Isaiah 58:8)

To all who call Your Name
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13) / And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Joel 2:32; see also Acts 2:21)

Like a desert
Lord, I thirst
I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land. (Psalm 143:6) / My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? (Psalm 42:2)

Come like the rain (2x)
Shower your mercies once again
Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3) / He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows. (Isaiah 30:23)

Spirit of God
Come like a flood
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10) / For this is what the Lord says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you… (Isaiah 66:12-13)

Pour out Your grace on me again The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:20-21)

Holy God, revive my heart
Send your word, O Lord
He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. (Psalm 107:20) / He sends out his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly…He sends out his word… (Psalm 147:15,18)

Come, O Christ, with truth and life Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6)

And grace to know You more May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2 Peter 1:2) / But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18)

Lord, I repent of the days
Where I neglected your grace
Father, for this I was made:
To live for Your praise (2x)
(REPEAT)
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. (Titus 2:11-12) /  in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. (Ephesians 1:12) / everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. (Isaiah 43:7) / The bridge was also inspired by this prayer: “Almighty and most merciful Father, whose mercy has kept me from the grave, grant that I may reflect on my past life and repent of the days and years in which I ignored your grace and neglected my salvation. Help me to use the time you have given me, so that I may become more diligent in the studies you have given me. When at last I shall be called in judgment, may I be received as a good and faithful servant into everlasting happiness. For the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.”
